An Evening at the Monkey Folk Club
 
Croquis life drawing studies of local musicians, who are not exclusive to folk music but kindly and reasonbly encourage all art forms. In Hopkins's typical style of drawing while the musicians are playing their instruments, these portraits are done there abouts in 15 minutes. Initially the studies were a form of practice for the artist, however the illustrations themselves hold a charm and magnetic elegance.
